Work at Halliday:
Katheryne started at Halliday in 2010 as the Front Desk Receptionist. Within six months, she advanced to Administrative Assistant. Shortly thereafter, her skills and talent landed her a promotion as Executive Assistant of the Chief Operating Officer, Scott Solomon.
As she continues to take on more responsibilities, Katheryne not only assists the COO with an extensive range of assignments and projects, but she also now contributes extensively to marketing and events for the firm. Katheryne coordinates corporate and client appreciation events, creates marketing and advertising strategies for both print and online, and continuously develops initiatives for the firms website and social media efforts.
Katheryne is also responsible for many of Halliday’s program development and operational strategies. She performs a multitude of additional significant tasks, including but not limited to scheduling over 100 classes a year for Halliday’s Continuing Education Program, which many advisors participate in.
Background and education:
Katheryne studied Business Management and Early Childhood Education at Hudson Valley Community College. In addition, she became a certified manager through the New Manager in Training Program in 2012. Prior to joining Halliday, Katheryne worked as a Leasing Consultant for numerous facilities, where she demonstrated excellent customer service and gained valuable accounting experience.
Katheryne has volunteered for numerous organizations over the years, most notably Junior Achievement, Equinox, Albany Rescue Mission, and United Way.
Currently residing in Latham, Katheryne enjoys spending time with her son, family and friends.
