Work at Halliday:

Sharon joined Halliday in 2012.

Although her main task is covering the front desk – handling phone calls, greeting visitors and clients – she also plays a number of other roles.

Sharon performs clerical duties, offers support for all of the advisors, and she is also in charge of inventory and maintaining office supplies.

In 2013, Sharon received The Roots Award from Halliday, in recognition of her exceptional performance with the company.

Background and education:

Sharon received her associate’s degree from Hudson Valley Community College in early childhood education.

For 10 years, she taught computer skills to kindergarteners up through eighth grade at a private school, and additionally substituted at an elementary school.

Additional information:

Sharon has volunteered over the years for numerous hunger-related causes through churches. She has provided breakfast for hungry children, prepared boxes of food for needy families, and has also participated with community meals and food pantries.

Currently residing in Lansingburg, Sharon treasures the time she gets to spend with her granddaughter.
