Work History:

Reese started his career in the financial industry over 30 years ago on Wall Street. He began with Citibank in the mid 1980’s, moved to Moody’s Investors Service in 1990, but ultimately decided to leave New York in 1995 when he moved to Williamstown, MA to take a fund raising job at Williams College, his alma mater. In 2000 he left Williams to return to the for-profit world and ended up managing the trust division of Legacy Banks in Pittsfield, MA. After Legacy Banks was acquired by Berkshire Bank, Reese joined forces with Granite Investment Advisors in Concord, NH and after that partnership dissolved he joined MetLife in Latham, NY where he joined forces with the Jones Team. Reese moved with the Jones Team to Halliday Financial in June of 2017 and continues to offer thoughtful, value oriented investment management and financial planning advice to clients.

With Reese’s vast experience and interest in financial markets, he brings a deep knowledge and sense of compassion to the team. As a specialist in portfolio management and financial planning, Reese is an integral part of the Jones Team and looks forward to creating strong relationships with each of our clients.

Background & Education:

Reese grew up in New York City and Greenwich, CT.  He attended Brunswick School in Greenwich and then went to Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Reese has a BA degree in Asian History, was a varsity lacrosse tri-captain his senior year and was an assistant coach of the Women’s Varsity Squash Team.  He is an active alumnus, has served of several local non-profit boards, and remains highly engaged with his community.

Additional Information:

Reese continues to live in Williamstown, Massachusetts with his wife Kathy and their three children.  Reese is an active person who enjoys golf, tennis, paddle tennis, playing darts in a league and the outdoors, fly fishing in particular.
